The Museums of Milos
You can spend a great deal of time in Milos exploring the wealth of exhibits in the museums of Milos. You may visit any or all of the following museums: Ecclesiastical, Mining, Archaeological, Folklore, Maritime, as well as periodic/seasonal exhibits, such as the Photographic Panorama of Milian History, the WWII exhibit, etc.

The Folklore and History Museum in Plaka, exhibits the everyday life of the people of Milos throughout the centuries, with embroideries, local costumes, hand made textiles, utensils and old photographs.

Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum in Adamas displays and honors the maritime tradition of Milian fishermen, sailors and ship owners and naval pilots.

Mining Museum

The Mining Museum in Adamas, aims to honor and promote the long mining history of Milos and to display the mineral wealth of the island.
